Giorgio Caputo

Giorgio Caputo serves as Head of Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager at Gideon Strategic Partners, overseeing client portfolios and contributing as a member of the firm's investment committee. He authors the firm's Monthly Market Observations, providing clients with timely commentary on markets, macro themes, and portfolio positioning.

Prior to Gideon, Giorgio was a Senior Fund Manager and Head of Multi-Asset Value at JO Hambro Capital Management, managing the JOHCM Global Income Builder and JOHCM Credit Income strategies. Before JO Hambro, he was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at First Eagle Investment Management, co-managing the First Eagle Global Income Builder Fund and supporting the Global Value Team. He also served as Managing Director and Industry Generalist Analyst at value and event-driven hedge fund JANA Partners, and began his career as an Equity Derivatives Quantitative Analyst at Lehman Brothers and an Investment Banking Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Giorgio holds a BS in Operations Research from Princeton University.
