
Robert D. Amoruso, CEPA
Robert Amoruso is the Founder and CEO of Gideon Strategic Partners, headquartered in Century City, Los Angeles, with offices in New York and Baltimore. Since founding the firm in 2012, Robert has grown it to manage over $1 billion in client assets, delivering sophisticated financial planning, investment management, and tax-efficient strategies for high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, and executives.
Robert began his career at Van Eck Global in 2007 before joining AXA in 2008, where he rose to Regional Vice President and led the firm's largest and top-producing U.S. team, earning Circle of Excellence, Summit, and Hallmark I awards, along with membership in the Elite Producer Group and the Million Dollar Round Table.
He graduated summa cum laude from Johnson & Wales University with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He has also completed the Retirement Planning Specialist Certificate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Alternative Investments Certification at Harvard Business School, covering private equity, private debt, real estate, secondaries, and venture capital. He holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation and FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
Robert is a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) and Tiger 21, two of the most exclusive networks for chief executives and high-net-worth investors. He resides in Coconut Grove, Miami with his wife Lainie and their two sons, Luca and Levi.
